It seems like there have been a million solutions over the years that have been offered to solve the obvious problem we have in education in America. Those ideas have included the following:
*Throwing money at it
*Year round schools
*Making test scores the end-all-be-all measurement of success
*Trying to copy more successful countries
Some of these solutions had more success than others, but none have really had a great impact on turning around the problems that we have in education in America. Next week I will talk a little more about my answer. You guessed it—a change in our approach to discipline…
