ABOUT
Hello and welcome. My name is Doug Campbell. I have over 20 years of teaching experience at the high school level and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. And yet, with all of that education and experience, I still received almost no training on essentials to successful teaching like managing behavior, forming relationships with students, school culture, and general survival skills for teachers. Over the years, I have found that most others who get trained to teach have a similar experience.
As a result, I was quickly frustrated with my own efforts in the classroom as I began my teaching career. So, a few years into it, I set out to figure out a way to answer these questions on my own. The discoveries and ideas that resulted from this study became very successful for me , and I began to share them with other teachers as well. This shared success eventually led to my book, Discipline Without Anger, and this website. I hope it helps teachers who are finding themselves in a similar situation, or those who just want to get a little better.
